[Warning: Spoilers Ahead]

The episode began with Jaime Lannister yelling at his brother Tyrion for throwing his life away in trial by combat. Tyrion admits he couldn't stand to hear the woman he loves speak about him the way she did. Tyrion believed Shae loved him, but now he believes she never actually did.

Tyrion asks Jaime to be his champion, but Jaime denies the request. Tyrion asks his brother to send for Bronn to fight for him. Bronn eventually appears before Tyrion and also denies his request to be his champion because he knows he can't win against The Mountain.

The youngest Lannister's luck shifts when Oberyn Martell visits him in his cell. Oberyn explains a conversation he had with Tyrion's sister Cersei. Oberyn revealed he knew her intention was to persuade him against Tyrion during the trial.

However, Cersei's attempt to persuade Oberyn onto her side failed. Oberyn explained to Tyrion that he had met him before. Tyrion was unsure about their previous meeting, but it turns out Oberyn was around for his birth. There were rumors that Tyrion was a monster, born with a large head, a red eye and a tail between his legs.

To Oberyn's surprise, Tyrion didn't look like a monster and let Cersei know he was just a little baby. Oberyn's comment angered Cersei, who pinched Tyrion's penis so hard he thought it was going to fall off. Cersei's response, "He's going to die soon anyway." Since then, Oberyn refused to believe Tyrion was the real monster and finds his trial to be the perfect way to get revenge for his sister Elia Targaryen's murder. Oberyn volunteers to act as Tyrion's champion and fight Elia's murderer, The Mountain.

Meanwhile in the Vale, Sansa Stark is missing Winterfell. She tries to recreate her home in the snow, but its ruined by her cousin Robin. Sansa scolds Robin for the way he is acting and slaps him across the face for disrespecting her. Robin quickly runs off and Petyr Baelish appears.

Sansa apologizes to Baelish for striking Robin, but he quickly tells her she acted accordingly. Sansa takes the opportunity to ask why he killed King Joffery and Baelish reveals he was avenging her mother Catelyn Stark's death. Baelish admits he only loved one woman in his lifetime and you do anything for the ones you loves. Baelish then kisses Sansa as his new wife Lysa Tully watches.

Lysa asks Sansa to meet her by the moon door and confronts her about kissing Baelish. Lysa becomes enraged by Sansa lying to her, but Baelish quickly intervenes by assuring his wife they'd send the young stark away. Baelish tells Lysa he only loved one woman in his life, and reveals it was Cat as he pushes her out of the moon door.
