Chase Vasser continues tease fans with hints about his reported "Walking Dead" character. The former UGA footballer was never actually confirmed as an actor on the upcoming Season 5 but he's been dropping several hints that fans will see him on the AMC show when it returns on October.

On May 13, he posted a suspicious tweet about being a "zombie killer."

"That's A Wrap! Finally done being 193 pound drug addict. Beast Mode now for next Role! #ZombieKiller #NotDyingEasily," he wrote. (The tweet has since been deleted).

Vasser first generated "Walking Dead" buzz back in April when he tweeted that he had auditioned for a role on the show. He then confirmed via Twitter that he was indeed added to the cast. We have to point out that this has never been confirmed or denied by the show.

"It's official! Tune in Oct. 13 on AMC for 'The Walking Dead!' #cannibaltwist," he posted.

He eventually deleted the tweet but left up a post saying that he had never watched an episode of "The Walking Dead" and should probably catch up. It's not clear what role Vasser could end up playing but there has been a lot of speculation.

Because he ended his tweet with the hashtag "#cannibaltwist," fans might see him as one of the cannibals at Terminus. It's been said - but never confirmed - that the place Rick Grimes and the others are trapped at his home to the Hunters mentioned in the comic books.

There's also another character Vasser could potentially play. E! News recently reported that a new character would be introduced during the Season 5 premiere.

"Our gang may have been in a tight-spot when we last left them, but Rick and Co. are going to be recruiting as many people as possible in order to get revenge on those man-eating freaks who run Terminus," E! writes. "One of the allies we're most excited to meet is 17-year-old Burton. He may be young, but he's already suffered great tragedy when [he] lost his leg. Luckily Burton does not let his disability keep him down, and his positivity is infectious to everyone else around him."

It's possible that Vasser could be playing the one-legged "#ZombieKiller."

Update: Vasser tweeted that fans will not see him on "The Walking Dead" next season.
