For the first time in history, chef Gordon Ramsay host of "Kitchen Nightmares," walked off the program. Chef Ramsay is not known for being sweet and nice, but after a recent episode of "Kitchen Nightmares" he did appear to be the calm one for a change.
Chef Ramsay showed up to Amy's Baking Company in Scottsdale, Arizona to help revive the failing restaurant.
Within five minutes it was evident why the restaurant was in need of Ramsay's help. Even though Ramsay and customers complained about the food, there was a much bigger problem... or two problems.
Amy and her husband Samy Bouzaglo, owners of the restaurant, are "psycho" as one Yelp review puts it. In the beginning of the episode the couple are not only screaming, yelling and cursing at each other, but at their customers as well.
Things got so tense that Amy called the cops because her husband almost got into a physical altercation with a customer who was upset he has to wait over an hour for a pizza.
Chef Ramsay who was not at the restaurant yet would soon realize that was a typical night. Immediately after meeting, the couple explain their troubles stem from "hates" and "bloggers."
Amy and Samy blame everyone else but themselves. Throughout the episode, Ramsay discovers that the couple's food is not up to par, they don't allow their staff to get tips and instead keep the tips for themselves and admitted to firing over 100 people.
Ramsay watches in horror as the couple yells and curses at each, fires a waiter and witnesses lots of angry customers sending food back to the kitchen which only further fuels the couples aggravation.
Things get so tense between Ramsey and the couple that he leaves and walks right out of the restaurant.
"After about 100 Kitchen Nightmares, I met two owners I could not help, it is because they are incapable of listening," Ramsay said.
After the meltdown on the show the couple expressed their frustration and anger on their Facebook page in numerous obscene rants.
"You are all little punks. Nothing. You are all nothing. We are laughing at you. All of you, just fools. We have God on our side, you just have your sites."
"To all the Yelpers and Reddits: Bring it on. You are just (expletive). Come to Arizona. You are weaker than my wife, and weaker than me. Come to my business. Say it to my face. Man to man. My wife is a Jewel in the desert. You are just trash. Reddits and Yelpers just working together to bring us down. Pathetic."
The Facebook tirades continued on post after post each one worse than the other (read all the posts here). Amy's Banking Company now claims their account was hacked and they did not post any of those comments.
