Blake Shelton almost made millions of women's dreams come true. If you were watching "The Voice" last night (Apr. 28) then you probably thought for a split second that you would be able to talk to Adam Levine after Shelton tweeted the Maroon 5 rocker's real cellphone number.

It all started an hour before the show when Levine tweeted "I'm seriously amazed at @blakeshalton's stupidity..."

The country singer responded by writing, "@adamlevine... I just found the craziest thing in my phone!! Your PERSONAL cell phone number... hope I'm not stupid enough to tweet it out..."

Clearly, Shelton is a man of his word and posted Levine's California number during the show.

"I should do it right? Who wants @adamlevine's personal cell number??" he tweeted to his more than 6 million followers. "HEY EVERYONE!!! Here it is: (310) 493-7939 <- @adamlevine's CELL NUMBER! Think I'm kidding? Try calling it!! B**ch!!"

Almost immediately thousands of fans dialed the number but no one could actually get through to Levine because the line was jammed.  And in case you wondering if it really was Levine's personal number, "The Vice" host Carson Daly confirmed it was the real deal to Today.com.

"It was his number," Daly told Today.com after the show. "I knew it was real because Adam told me it was real, but I didn't know if they were going to go through with it or how it would play out."

Daly said he texts the "One More Night" singer "quite a bit" but noted that the number has now been disconnected.

"Those two, they have issues they've got to solve," Shakira said, talking about fellow judges Shelton and Levine. "They've got to work out those issues among themselves. But Blake should expect some kind of revenge from Adam, I can assure you that."
