[Warning: major spoilers ahead]

Tyrion Lannister is accused of murdering King Joffery during the royal wedding feast. Tyrion learns his wife Sansa Stark has fled King's Landing and her whereabouts are unknown. His loyal squire Podrick is being forced to lie and tell a court he was sent to purchase the poison used to kill Joffrey on Tyrion's behalf. He is aware he has been set up, but knows for sure Cersei isn't behind the Joffrey's murder. Tyrion's only hope to gain back his freedom is his brother Jamie.

Meanwhile Jaime and Cersei have a moment alone together by Joffrey's dead body. Cersei is distraught over the death of her son and Jamie attempts to give her physical comfort to ease her pain. However, Cersei pulls away from Jamie's advances, which angers Jamie. Jamie then forces himself on Cersei, who begs him to stop as he rapes her with their dead son's body just inches away.

Sansa has become the next target of the Lannister family. Joffery's fool quickly whisked her away after the wedding into the hands of Petyr Baelish. Baelish confirms to Sansa he conspired to kill Joffrey with the necklace the fool had given to her. Baelish then kills the fool, explaining to Sansa he was acting on his orders and his silence could only be bought for a short time. Sansa is safe, for now.

Arya is still traveling with The Hound and they eventually cross paths with a father and daughter who welcome them into their home. Though they feed them and give them a place to stay for the night, The Hound steals their silver and strikes down the father. Arya yells out The Hound for the way he treated them, to which The Hound explains to the young Stark they would be dead come winter because they cannot defend themselves.

Jon Snow and the Night's Watch are discussing what's the best plan of action to deal with Wildlings whom have made it over the wall. Jon explains they must head back North to deal with Mance Rayder before he realizes he has everything he needs to crush them. Jon convinces the Night's Watch they are in immediate danger and the Wildlings would take over lands for 1,000 miles before they encountered an army that could stop them.

The show ends with Daenerys in Meereen, showing the slaves she will free them if they join her cause. She throws barrels of chains over the walls in order to show them what she will do in order to conquer Westeros and regain The Iron Throne.
