Watch what you post online: Ubisoft's "Watch Dogs" is using your Facebook profile against you.

The gaming studio has released an app called Watch Dogs Digital Shadow app. According to Ubisoft, the app scans through your page to see where your "digital shadow" weaknesses lie.

"Using your Facebook profile, the app scans every post, every image, every contact and every bit of information you provide in order to pull together a comprehensive guide to all the places a hacker might look to gain access to your accounts," Ubisoft wrote in their blog. "The more you interact online, the more personal data you reveal. Once you connect the app to your Facebook account, you'll be able to choose whether or not you share any of the details revealed with your friends. The app will not store any or this data and it will never be used for anything in the future. It is solely for your own use."

However, the app will search for security vulnerabilities in your Facebook account and let you know what a hacker attempting to search for your information can use against you.

"It pokes through your social life piece by piece and finds all your tiny vulnerabilities," Ubisoft explained. "Which friends could be used against you to gain information? What locations do you frequent? It even takes guesses at what your potential passwords could be (but if you avoid including any family members or prior addresses in your password, you probably won't see yours pop up in the generated attempts)."
