"Guardians of Galaxy" has released its first full-length teaser clip for MTV News, revealing Star Lord's and Korath the Pursuer's first meeting.

The scene clip features Peter Quill a.k.a Star Lord (Chris Pratt) getting caught stealing an orb by Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou). Quill tries to explain who he is to Korath, who has never heard of his alias. Korath fires his weapon at Quill, who falls on his back and escapes out of a gaping hole through the wall.

"Guardians of Galaxy" stars Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as Groot. "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be released to theaters on Aug. 1.
