Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is the most polarizing figure in the 2014 NFL draft.  Below is the latest on where experts project Manziel to land.

John McClain, a longtime Texans beat writer for the Houston Chronicle, projects Manziel to go first overall to Houston.

"The experts want them to take Jadeveon Clowney but not this week," McClain wrote on Sunday.

According to the "Grade: A" value draft by ESPN's Mel Kiper, Manziel will be the first signal caller off the board and go No. 4 to the Cleveland Browns.

"Here's where I take the plunge at quarterback.  For one, while Manziel is a boom-or-bust proposition, he's exactly the type of QB who doesn't give a, um, darn about the bad QB history in Cleveland," Kiper wrote on Thursday.  "In fact, it will just push him."

In Kiper's Mock Draft 3.0, published on March 13, Kiper has Manziel as the third quarterback selected and going to the Minnesota Vikings with the No. 8 pick.

Based on recent comments from Vikings coach Mike Zimmer, though, it seems unlikely Minnesota would draft Manziel.

"We asked him all kinds of questions.  ... There are some flags that come up," Zimmer said on March 31 during an interview with 104.9 The Horn, via ESPN.  "All of the things that happened out in Los Angeles, the commercials and all that stuff ... the position of quarterback in the NFL is such an important position and the reason these guys need to be a totally football-minded guy is the pressure of the position and being the face of an NFL team and doing everything right."

CBS Sports' Rob Rang and Dane Brugler both have Manziel going to Cleveland in their latest mock drafts, published on Monday.

The third mock draft from ESPN's Todd McShay also projects Manziel to be go to Cleveland as the fourth overall pick, based on the assumption Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater are drafted before Cleveland's turn.
