"Star Wars Episode 7" might return to Tatooine in its first weeks of production this May.

Badass Digest reports their insider sources claim the "Star Wars" crew will be shooting in Morocco on May 14.  Production will allegedly film on location for two weeks before moving on to the next scheduled set.

If the "Star Wars" franchise is revisiting past locations, Morocco was the home of the Tatooine scenes shot for "A New Hope."   Before you get too excited, the "Star Wars" production has not confirmed any filming location.

The "Star Wars" production has kept filming details under wraps, but "Lost" star Dominic Monaghan was able to talk to director J.J. Abrams about the casting process for the film.  Monaghan explained to DweebCast the director isn't looking for big name actors to star in the upcoming production.

"[Abrams and I] talked about it a few times. Once I knew that he was doing 'Star Wars' I sent him a little congratulatory message and stuff," he told DweebCast. "We've talked a few times about it and he said 'We're putting together a cast of essentially unknowns. We want to follow the '77 'New Hope' cast'."

"Because obviously Harrison Ford wasn't well known at that point, Mark Hamill wasn't and Carrie Fisher wasn't either," he added. "What he said was, 'We don't want to fall into that mistake of people going 'Oh it's that guy from that thing!' and then you're completely out of the 'Star Wars' universe.' "

Unfortunately for "Star Wars" fans, Monaghan's comments could mean Lupita N'yongo, Adam Driver, Chiwetel ejiofor, Gary Oldman, Benedict Cumberbatch and other big names linked to the film may not be in the running for any lead roles.

However, the production recently confirmed there will be familiar faces reporting on set, so there is still hope for a Luke Skywalker, Leia Skywalker and Han Solo reunion.

"Star Wars Episode 7" will make its big screen debut on Dec. 18, 2015.
