"Ant-Man" might be adding a "House Of Cards" actor into the mix along with a "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug " star.

The Wrap reports Corey Stoll is in talks to become the newest addition to the "Ant-Man" cast, including Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas. Jeff Sneider, reporter for The Wrap, also confirmed on his official Twitter account Evangeline Lily has signed her deal with to join the Marvel production.

However, Marvel Studios has declined to comment about any casting news relating to "Ant-Man."

According to report from Variety back in February, "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" actress was in negotiations for a "female lead." Speculations pointed to Lily taking on the role of Hank Pym's daughter or Ant-Man's wife.

"Pym didn't have a daughter in the comics, but Cornish and Wright could certainly have switched things up in their version by giving him one," Variety reports.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed Rudd was officially cast as the title charcter for the "Ant-Man" film in December 2013.

"When Edgar Wright came to us with the idea of Paul Rudd, we felt a huge sense of relief because the first step in creating any Marvel Studios film is finding the right star," Feige said in a statement. "We knew early on that we had found the right person in Paul. When he not only agreed to do it but became as enthusiastic as any actor we'd ever met with about doing the work, we knew we'd found the right guy. We couldn't be more excited for our audiences to see what he's going to do to bring Ant-Man to life."

"The Conjuring" actor Patrick Wilson and Michael Pena have also been recently connected to the Marvel production.

"Ant-Man" is slated to be released to theaters on July 17, 2015.
