Although both the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders are reportedly interested in Philadelphia Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson, neither team wants to trade a pick for the veteran.  Teams appear to believe Philadelphia will ultimately release Jackson and are waiting for him to become a free agent.

Reports of Jackson's impending trade or release have circulated throughout March, and all indications suggest there's "no way" he suits up as an Eagle this season.  While teams are interested in the three-time Pro Bowler, they're reportedly unwilling to trade any picks for him because of the belief the Eagles will release him before the start of the season.

Jets owner Woody Johnson confirmed his team's interest in Jackson on Sunday, but he seemingly indicated they were uninterested in trading for him.

"We're looking at a number of players, including DeSean," Johnson said at the NFL owners meetings, via the Philadelphia Inquirer.  "He's a very good player.  We're looking at a number of them.  Trades are not our primary operating motif right now."

New York needs weapons on offense, and acquiring Jackson would reunite the receiver with his former quarterback, recently-signed Michael Vick.

Oakland is another team who wants Jackson but seems to believe he'll soon hit the free agent market.

"(Raiders) are intrigued by DeSean Jackson, but sources say they are not inclined to give up a '14 pick," NFL.com's Ian Rapoport tweeted on Monday.  "Interested in him, if he's free."

Giving up a draft pick and paying Jackson's $10 million salary is a hard pill to swallow for teams, especially with Jackson likely to be released if no trade is found.  Jackson is reportedly on the outs with the Eagles because he doesn't have the type of character that coach Chip Kelly wants in the locker room.

Philadelphia reportedly wants at least a third-round pick for Jackson.  Other teams interested in him include San Francisco, New England and Carolina.
