Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new trailer to hype the Tim Burton Beetlejuice sequel called "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice." (See the entire trailer at the end of the article.)
The follow-up to his 1988 hit brings back Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder and Catherine O'Hara to reprise their roles.
It introduces new characters played by Jenna Ortega, Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe and Justin Theroux.
It opens in theaters on Sept. 5.

Why is Jeffrey Jones Not in Beetlejuice 2?

Jeffrey Jones played the role of Charles Deetz, the father of Winona Ryder's Lydia Deetz, in the original movie but won't be back.
Jones pleaded no contest in 2003 to hiring a 14-year-old boy to pose naked for photographs and was sentenced to five years probation.
The first trailer for the movie hints that the character was killed off. It shows a funeral and a headstone with Charles engraved on it, Unilad reported.
Will Alec Baldwin Star in Beetlejuice 2?

If you were hoping to see Alec Baldwin in the remake you are going to be disappointed. He and Geena Davis are not reprising their roles.
Filmmaker Tim Burton said he wanted to center the new movie on the living characters from the original Beetlejuice and not the spirits, Screenrant reported.
