Legendary film director Martin Scorsese reportedly wants to put a Frank Sinatra biopic together starring actor Leonardo DiCaprio as the singer.

Jennifer Lawrence would portray his second wife, actress Ava Gardner.

The film is reportedly drawing interest from major studios and streaming platforms.

There is a hurdle standing in the way of the project.

Ol' Blue Eye's daughter, Tina Sinatra, controls the famous singer's estate and has not approved the film as of yet, according to Variety.

 It's been at least 15 years since Martin Scorsese first started working on the idea of a biopic of Frank Sinatra, according to the Film Stage.

Scorsese is also working with Steven Spielberg to produce a "Cape Fear" series for Apple TV+.
