"Under my leadership, Israel will never accept any attempt by the ICC to undermine its inherent right of self-defense," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Israel will win, after Iran's unprecedented attack on the Jewish State, and in warnings just before the barrage.

"I established a clear principle — whoever hurts us, we will hurt them," Netanyahu said before the attack. "We will defend ourselves from any threat and we will do so calmly and with determination."

Israel and the US intercepted nearly all of an Iranian barrage of some 300 drones and missiles over Israel and the West Bank overnight, Israeli officials said Sunday.

It was the first time in history Iran has launched a widescale direct military attack from its soil on Israel.

After the attack, Netanyahu posted a message on X saying, "We intercepted. We blocked. Together, we will win."

The Iranian armed forces said the operation was over, the state-run IRNA news agency reported.

Israel's response to the attack will be closely watched by allies and foes.

President Biden says the U.S. would not participate in any offensive action by Israel against Iran.
