The New South Wales (NSW) Police Force has commenced an investigation after two bodies were found on Goolma Road in the state's central west town of Gulgong on Saturday morning, April 13.

In a press release, police said that the bodies were found inside a shipping container following reports of concern for their welfare.

"A crime scene has been established as an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident continues," the police statement read. "A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner."

Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy was charged with murder after allegedly stabbing two teenagers near a school in the Sydney suburb of Doonside on Friday afternoon, April 12.

ABC reported that emergency services responded to the knife attack, but the teenagers, aged 18 and 19, had already gone to the police station in Blacktown.

The 18-year-old died at the scene, while the other teenager was taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition.

The suspect was arrested near the crime scene and charged with murder. He refused bail to appear at a children's court on Saturday.

Police sources say the stabbings are believed to be related to youth crime rivalries known as the postcode wars, and two rival gangs were involved.
