In a recent interview, John Bolton, the former National Security Advisor, shared his perspective on former President Trump's capabilities, suggesting that p "doesn't have the brains" to be a dictator.

This statement comes at a time when there are growing concerns about the potential outcomes of a second Trump term.

In an interview published Thursday, Le Figaro, a conservative French outlet, questioned Bolton about whether Trump displayed any dictatorial tendencies.

"He hasn't got the brains! He's a property developer for God's sake!" Bolton replied responded.

Trump, the only remaining candidate for the GOP presidential nomination, had a meeting with Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán earlier this month. The meeting at his Mar-a-Lago estate highlighted his fondness for leaders who challenge democratic norms.

Trump has expressed admiration for various foreign leaders from countries that the US considers adversaries. The ex-president expressed his appreciation for the correspondence he had received from the leader of North Korea and spoke highly of the Chinese president.

In the past, Trump has stated that if he were reelected, he would not assume dictatorial powers, except the first day.

In Bolton's view, there is a strong possibility that Trump may withdraw from NATO if he secures a second term.

Trump has consistently voiced his concerns about NATO members not meeting the 2 percent GDP spending requirement and even raised the possibility of the United States leaving the organization during his tenure. Following his remarks to Putin regarding the actions of NATO members, Trump has reaffirmed his stance.

"Trump, when he has an idea, comes back to it again and again, then gets distracted, forgets, but eventually comes back to it and acts on it. That's why leaving NATO is a real possibility. A lot of people think it's just a negotiating tool, but I don't think so," as translated by The Telegraph.
