Demi Lovato is about to get married! The singer announced her engagement to musician Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes on Instagram on Saturday, December 16.
"I'm still speechless. [Last] night was the best night of my life and I can't believe I get to marry the love of my life @jutesmusic," Lovato said in the Instagram caption. She went on to dedicate a message to her soon-to-be husband: "My love, I'm beyond excited to marry you. Every day I've spent with you has been a dream come true and I can't wait to love and cherish you forever. Here's to the rest of our lives. I love you baby."
In the photo, the Heart Attack singer can be seen wearing a ring set with pear-shaped diamonds.
According to CNN, notable pals of Lovato's shared their congratulations in an Instagram post, including Selma Blair commenting, "I am so happy for you both! @jutesmusic is so lucky to have you. May this live grow infinity. I love you and am so happy for you. Gorgeous news."

The Pear-Shaped Diamond Ring
The Lovato and Lutes commissioned Teresa Panico of Material Good in New York City's Soho to design the custom ring, which showcases a massive pear-shaped diamond.
A gemologist from Rare Carat named Karly Bulinksi, who was not involved in the ring's creation, gave Page Six an estimate of the stone's weight in carats. She said it is set in a cathedral solitaire band, and its value is estimated to be approximately $150,000.

A Year of Dating
In the days leading up to the release of her eighth studio album Holy Fvck, Lovato and Jutes were first linked when photos of the two of them holding hands surfaced, according to PEOPLE.
An insider told the magazine in early August 2022 that it was a "really happy and healthy relationship," confirming Lovato's new romance. A source said later that month that the couple was still very much together and that the Sorry Not Sorry singer was happy and fulfilled.
Jutes took to Instagram in August 2023 to celebrate Lovato's 31st birthday. One of the photos in the carousel of adorable selfies and humorous clips showed the two of them kissing.
He wrote: "I didn't know the perfect person existed until I met [you]. But now that I do, I'm [gonna] spend the rest of my life protecting [you] and doing whatever I can to squeeze another smile [and] belly laugh [out of you]. I couldn't be more proud to call [you] my baby. Hope [you] have the best [birthday] ever."
The song Substance was written by Lovato and Lutes. The songs Happy Ending and City of Angels were co-written by both of them, too.
