Marvel star Kat Dennings married singer-songwriter Andrew W.K. after three years of dating in a backyard ceremony at their Los Angeles home on November 27.
The couple's intimate wedding was attended by only 15 guests, including close friends Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song.

Dennings told Vogue in a profile of their weddings on December 11, "We realized that a small home wedding was too cozy to resist." She added, "Plus, all our stuff was there, so we wouldn't have to pack anything."
She chose to be resourceful in wedding planning, just like her Max Black character on the CBS sitcom, and decided to DIY most of the decor. She even did her own hair and makeup on her wedding day.
"I wanted to be hands-on with the entire experience and feel like we had built our moment together from scratch," she explained, as she wanted their wedding to feel completely different from an industry event.
Dennings shared that she almost hired a professional because the florals took three days of non-stop work. But when she stood with Andrew at an arch she made herself, she said it was exactly what they wanted.
She wore an ivory-colored gown by Alexander McQueen as she said she did not like white as a very pale person. Meanwhile, W.K. chose a dark purple Brioni suit with a shirt and tie from Anto Shirtmakers.
Ellen Litwack, Dennings' mother, accompanied her down the aisle after her dad, Gerald Litwack, died less than two months before the wedding. The Marvel star recalled that the wedding made them incredibly emotional, especially her father's passing, which made her realize that it was even more of a reason to grasp any joyous feeling.
Dennings expressed her excitement to finally be husband and wife when they looked into each other's eyes and called herself truly lucky to be marrying such a kind and loving man.

Dennings, W.K. Engagement
The couple first confirmed their relationship in May 2021 when Dennings posted a picture of them kissing, followed by the announcement of their engagement on May 13.
Dennings posted a close-up photo of her gorgeous diamond ring on her finger on Instagram with the caption, "Don't mind if I do."
W.K. was previously married to Voss Events talent manager Cherie Lily in 2008. However, he did not release a confirmation of their divorce.
Meanwhile, Dennings was previously in a relationship with Josh Groban for two years and split up in 2016. She said it was a mutual breakup, and they were still friends who cared about each other.
She reflected on her romantic history, suggesting it had been quite the journey as she was attracted to roles she felt like she could bring a fundamental aspect to drawing from something.
Furthermore, she told InStyle that she has had a storied love life and a somewhat exciting upbringing, so she feels she relates to those characters.
