Israel allegedly purchased the Hamas.com website as part of its propaganda against the Palestinian militant group, which killed thousands of Israelis and injured hundreds of them.

An Israeli flag flies from the Kidmat Zion Jewish settlement community on the outskirts of the Arab village of Abu Dis, where the Old City with its golden Dome of the Rock Islamic shrine is seen in the background, August 18, 2008, in East Jerusalem, Israel.

The Hamas website—with the domain "hamas.com"—was first spotted by Haaretz, an Israeli news organization, on Nov. 19. However, the source clarified that the domain was already registered since December 1999.

It only became active again after it was purchased earlier in November after the deadly Hamas terrorist attack on Oct. 7.

Israel Allegedly Buys Hamas.Com Website as Part of Propaganda

The Daily Dot reported that the new Hamas website is pretty suspicious, and there are numerous reasons why.

One of these is the Hamas.com page is not the official website of the Palestinian militant group. Hamas' official webpage has the domain "hamas.ps," which has been down since Oct. 8.

The Indian Cyber Force claimed that they were the ones who breached the terrorist organization's official online site. Another thing suspicious about Hamas.com is that most X accounts (formerly Twitter) that share it are linked to the Israeli government.

Here are some of the X accounts connected to Israel that shared screenshots and links to the Hamas.com webpage:

Joe Truzman, a Palestine-focused research analyst, said that the Palestinian militant group was forced to issue a proclamation of fake news because of the newly established website.

"Hamas has been forced to issue a proclamation of fake news or, in this case, forged news, that the website Hamas.com does not belong to the organization," said Truzma via his official X post.

Aside from these, another factor proving that Hamas.com is not owned by Hamas terrorists is that the website uses SpaceX launch images to depict the missiles fired by the militant organization.

Many netizens quickly noticed it, saying that it is amusing how the website claims that a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch is a Hamas missile.

In this handout image provided by NASA, a five-minute long exposure shows a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying the company's Dragon spacecraft launched on NASA SpaceX Crew-6 mission to the International Space Station with NASA astronauts.

If you visit the Hamas.com website, you will see on the front page that the webpage describes the militant group as an Islamic resistance movement that aims to liberate Palestinians by "all possible means."

Once you scroll down, you will see details about the Oct. 7 terrorist attack. These include the numbers of civilians killed, captured hostages, and injured Israelis.

What's worse about this website is that it also shows photos of babies that were murdered and burnt alive by terrorists, as well as burned Jewish houses.

The last image section is a collection of Hamas missiles fired against major cities and villages in Israel; the thumbnail is an image of a SpaceX rocket launch.
