LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 05: Adele poses with the Best Pop Solo Performance Award for "Easy on Me" in the press room during the 65th GRAMMY Awards at Crypto.com Arena on February 05, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.

The Grammy Award winner Adele recently told fans at her 'Weekends With Adele' residency show that she stopped drinking alcohol over the past three months.

Adele also shared that this was not her first time trying to quit alcohol.

Adele Lives an Alcohol-Free Life Now

According to the Daily Mail, Adele stayed sober for three months and a half to cure her condition of being borderline alcoholic during her 20s. The singer said she misses alcohol so much, but she cut out caffeine.

Adele described her journey of stepping away from alcohol as "boring." However, the 'Easy on Me' singer expressed her support to fans who have their glasses full of alcohol. She said, "Enjoy your whiskey sour. I'm very, very jealous."

Since her 2021 divorce from Simon Konecki and her dad's death, Mark Evans, from bowel cancer that same year,Adele was motivated to be non-alcoholic.

"That's one great way of really sort of getting to know yourself," Adele told Oprah Winfrey during her 2021 One Night Only Special on CBS, as reported in E! News. She added, "is just drinking water and being sober as anything."

Adele said that even without alcohol on her hand, she is currently living life and enjoying her personal milestones.

Adele's New Love Sparks After Divorce

Moreover, Adele is back on the dating game and is dating Rich Paul, a sports agent. Paul and Adele went public with their relationship in July 2021, when they were seen at the courtside together during Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

According to the People, Paul responded to marriage rumors with the singer. Paul said that he and Adele are in a good and happy space. Paul added that their relationship is not for the media and paparazzi but only for them.

Paul was also proud of how he noticed Adele's son, Angelo, following in his mother's footsteps. Adele's son will turned 11 today, October 19, 2023, and the singer is thrilled to celebrate the birthday of her son.

She said that she had a busy week preparing for her birthday's son. She added that his son is very much like her because she takes her birthday seriously, too. Adele adores her son so much, but she admitted that she will not give in to every birthday request of his son.

"I am like, 'That is very expensive. You are 11 shouldn't we be having a tea party still?' But you know 11-year-olds in 2023 are like going on 25!" she joked.

She noticed that her son was becoming more mature and more savvy than her. She shared that she will probably be a bullied mother next week.
