Bella Hadid supported Ariana Grande after she spoke out against derogatory remarks about her weight and appearance.

On April 12, the supermodel reposted the 'Thank U, Next' singer's now-viral TikTok, addressing fan concerns about her body on Instagram. According to The Independent, Grande reminded viewers in the video that "there are many different ways to appear healthy and attractive" and implored her admirers to be kind to one another.

Bella Hadid concluded her Instagram post with an affectionate message for Grande, writing: "Love you guys. And love you Ari. This is so important , I am very proud of you. It will help so many people. Thank you."

When she filmed a TikTok video of herself on Tuesday, Grande made a rare statement about body shaming, addressing the mental health toll that such negative comments have on a person.

Grande, whose pop songs include 'One Last Time' and 'Thank U, Next,' is also an actress and will play Glinda Upland in the upcoming film adaptation of the musical 'Wicked.' She suggested that even "well-intentioned" comments about how "healthy, unhealthy, large, small, this, that, erotic, non-sexy" people may appear should be avoided, citing that "there are many various types of beauty."

The singer has previously discussed her "anxiety" and mental health issues, particularly following the Manchester Arena incident in May 2017, in which a suicide bomber murdered 22 people after her concert. However, the singer stated that the version of her body to which she was being compared was the "unhealthiest version of my body," and she viewed her current appearance as a significant improvement in her health.

Per Daily Mail, she recorded her pose against a wall of windows while wearing an unassuming gray zip-up parka over a pale pink tank top. Her blonde hair was pulled back closely to frame her flawlessly made-up face and glossy lips, and she wore a white satchel as an accessory.

Ariana Grande 2017 Concert Accident

Ariana Grande suggested that her fans and bashers should concentrate on less physical compliments or learn to "ignore" the physical characteristics they disliked in her and others. Grande has openly discussed her struggles with anxiety, melancholy, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She developed the condition following the catastrophic explosion at her 2017 concert in Manchester, England.

As concertgoers attempted to depart the venue, an Islamist extremist suicide bomber detonated an explosive device, resulting in the deaths of 23 people and injuries to over 1,000 others. Grande was uninjured, but she struggled to recover from the traumatic event.

Per BBC, Ariana Grande is one of many celebrities whose weight is extensively discussed. Selena Gomez stated last month that there are reasons why a person's body size and shape may alter. Her medication for lupus causes her to retain fluids. Tuesday, some social media users criticized the culture of body humiliation that inspired Gomez and Grande's videos.

Adele said in 2021 that she was "disappointed" by the "aggressive dialogues" regarding her weight loss. At the same time, a similarly slimmed-down Jonah Hill urged his fans not to comment on his appearance.
