Embattled rapper Lizzo has been reportedly removed from the potential line-up of performers for 2024's Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

A source close to the artist told the Daily Mail her team was "desperately trying to come up with a strategy to save her sinking ship.

With the current lawsuit her former backup dancers filed against her underway, there was a possibility the rapper would not be able to recover from the situation she is in.

"It is becoming more and more difficult with more people coming forth accusing her of extremely inappropriate acts," the source, whose identity remained unknown as of this report, added.

The NFL and Lizzo are yet to comment on the announcement as of this report.

The Lizzo Saga So Far

Earlier this week, attorneys representing some former Lizzo backup dancers who filed a lawsuit over claims of weight shaming and sexual harassment at work revealed they now have six other people who have submitted complaints along similar lines.

Ron Zambrano, a lawyer whose practice specializes in employment law and is representing backup dancers Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams, and Noelle Rodriguez, told NBC News his firm is now looking into these claims.

The backup dancers also accused their former employer of sexual harassment and fat-shaming in what they described as a "demoralizing" and "hostile" work environment.

Meanwhile, it was also reported this week that Jay-Z's 2023 Made in America Festival in Philadelphia was canceled due to what they said were "severe circumstances outside of production control."
