The FBI's San Francisco Division will host an in-person recruiting event on August 29, 2023, to encourage talented individuals from underrepresented communities to explore the unique and fulfilling career opportunities available within the FBI.

The Diversity Agent Recruitment, or DAR, event will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in San Francisco and is an invitation-only information session that will feature both panel discussions and networking opportunities with a variety of FBI special agents who can provide prospective candidates with the awareness and understanding of the special agent application process, qualification requirements, and physical fitness standards. The DAR event is also a unique opportunity for attendees to hear firsthand the personal experiences of FBI special agents about what it is like to have a career with the FBI.

The FBI San Francisco Division designed this recruiting event to attract applicants with various backgrounds to increase the diversity of the FBI's special agent workforce.

"We are fortunate to live in such a culturally diverse area, and to best succeed at protecting our citizens, the FBI needs special agents who represent the cultures and perspectives of the communities we serve," said FBI Special Agent in Charge Robert Tripp. "Hosting a DAR event is one of the ways we support maintaining a diverse workforce, and we look forward to sharing more about our mission and what it's like to have a career with the FBI at this upcoming event."

The San Francisco Division especially encourages members of underrepresented ethnic and gender groups to apply, though this event is open to applicants of all backgrounds.

To request an invitation to this event, interested parties can apply online by visiting https://fbijobs.gov/diversity. Scroll down to DAR San Francisco and then click "Register Now."
