An anonymous man can be seen going across a street in the brief video posted to Twitter.

As a form of protest against how the UK government is managing climate change, members of 'Just Stop Oil' have glued themselves to numerous streets and stopped traffic.

Just Stop Oil climate activists, backdropped by The Shard, march slowly over London Bridge on June 27, 2023. Just Stop Oil wants the government to end all new oil and gas exploration and has promised not to let up in its protests until it does so.

And now, it's obvious that some people have had enough after a horrific video of activists getting milk thrown on them surfaced.

There are other Just Stop Oil members ahead, and one tries to give the man a pamphlet. After responding "no," the man with the camera crosses the street, which is blocked by yet another protester gathering. He then throws a milk bottle in their direction and pours it over the head of a young man holding a sign, as reported by LADBible.

Thousands of people have watched the video since it was posted to social media, and some have endorsed the man's behavior. This happened after a motorist struck a protester blocking a road with their vehicle. A car seemed to run over a protester in North London in a video that went viral online as they sought to block traffic.

The driver pushed their foot down, running over one of the protesters' feet because they didn't feel like waiting for them to be removed from the road. The automobile then sped away from the incident.

After the video went viral, Just Stop Oil published it and remarked that they thought "inflammatory language" from politicians and commentators was to blame for the outcome.

How the UK Government is Handling Climate Change?

The UK government has several policies in place to tackle climate change. The Climate Change Act 2008 sets a legally binding target for the UK to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 80% by 2050, compared to 1990 levels.

The Carbon Price Floor is also set, a minimum price for carbon emissions in the UK. It is designed to encourage businesses to reduce their emissions by making polluting more expensive.

The Renewable Heat Incentive provides financial incentives for businesses and households to switch to renewable forms of heat, such as solar thermal and biomass. A government-backed deal, The Green Deal, helps homeowners and businesses make energy-saving improvements to their homes and businesses.

The UK government's handling of climate change is a complex issue. There are several factors to consider, including the economic impact of climate change policies, the public's willingness to change their behavior, and the availability of new technologies. However, the UK government has taken some important steps to tackle climate change and is committed to doing more in the future.
