Katy Perry, wearing a full face of makeup and glossy hair, promised forthcoming shows and announced that Adam Lambert would be making an appearance as the "Rock" theme's special guest in the video clip.

The 38-year-old singer told viewers, "Don't miss" the next American Idol "live coast to coast" episode. She also said that Adam Lambert, the American Idol season 8 runner-up, is "going to be here for Rock," according to The US Sun.

Katy Perry Accused of Being Rude

The American Idol judge's appeal comes after viewers criticized her performance on the show.

When Katie Perry's favorite singer, Elijah McCormick, was eliminated, viewers of "American Idol" claimed she showed disrespect toward contestant Wé Ani.

Katy Perry didn't comment on Ani's performance but did express dismay at the eliminations and encourage fans to vote for their favorites to make it to the Top 12, per Page Six.

And earlier this month, when the singer behind "Roar" criticized participant Nutsa Buzaladze's glittery attire, the crowd on "AI" began booing Katy Perry.

One source claimed that producers of American Idol are listening to the calls for Katie Perry's dismissal from the iconic show after her recent antics, according to a report from Radar Online.

Many viewers of the singing contest have voiced their opinion that Katy Perry and her co-star Luke Bryan should be replaced and that Pink would be a great addition to the American Idol judges.
