Kim Kardashian announced her participation in season 12 of the FX anthology series 'American Horror Story' via a unique Instagram post on Monday.

FX Networks informed ABC Audio of the news, as well as the fact that former 'American Horror Stor' cast member Emma Roberts will return for the upcoming season.

Kim Kardashian is Joining 'American Horror Story'

According to Kardashian's tease, season 12 is titled 'Delicate,' a reference to Danielle Valentine's novel 'Delicate Condition,' which appears to serve as its inspiration.

This book's publisher describes it as a "thrilling thriller about a woman who believes a sinister figure is going to great measures to prevent her pregnancy, while the males in her life refuse to believe her." It is scheduled for release on August 1.

On Monday, Ryan Murphy, the creator of the series, told The Hollywood Reporter: "Kim is one of the biggest and finest television stars in the world, and we are thrilled to have her join the AHS clan. Emma and I are ecstatic to collaborate with this cultural titan."

Kim Kardashian did not specify whether she will portray herself or in what capacity she will appear in the film, but The Hollywood Reporter revealed details shortly after she made the announcement.

The source disclosed that the show's twelfth season will be titled Delicate and will be based on Danielle Valentine's forthcoming novel, Delicate Condition. The book is about a woman who is persuaded that an evil force is preventing her from becoming pregnant.

The season will be written by Halley Feiffer, who will also serve as the showrunner, according to the publication. Emma Roberts portrayed Madison Montgomery, Maggie Esmerelda, Serena Belinda, and Brooke Thompson on American High School from 2013 to 2019. During seasons three, four, seven, and eight, she played these characters.

Emma Roberts appreciated Kim Kardashian's post in which she shared the news, as per Daily Mail. The SKIMS founder provided the voice for Delores in 'Paw Patrol: The Movie,' which was released in 2021, and she will reprise the role in 'Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie,' which is scheduled for release later this year.

She also appeared in Ocean's Eight in 2018, 2 Broke Girls in 2014, voiced a character in American Dad! in 2014, played Ava in Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, and portrayed Nikki LePree in four episodes of Drop Dead Diva in 2012.

Kim appeared in several music videos, including Christina Milian's Dip It Low in 2004, Fall Out Boy's Thnks fr th Mmrs in 2007, Nicki Minaj's Come on a Cone in 2012, ex-husband Kanye West's Bound 2 in 2013, Fergie's M.I.L.F.$ video in 2016, and Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike vs. Paris Hilton for Best Friend's A**.
