An outlet RIA Novosti said a video of TrAMP (transport aviation multifunctional platform) shows the drone in the last stages before deployment.

Images of the drone, which is on the runway, checking all the systems and processes by technicians troubleshooting the unmanned aircraft. Part of the ground testing is to tweak it on the ground to optimize the platform.

An airframe with a dual keel V-tail and a straight wing placed high on the fuselage that basic features seen from the outside. A frontal engine with a capacity for 2,650 liters in the cargo bay is placed in the center of the drone. It has smooth extension integrated into the airframe, reported Eurasian Times.

Two drop-down doors on opposite sides of the cargo bay for loading different size cargo. Retractable rear landing structures are in a recess which is behind each door. The top speed is 195 km/h with a limit altitude of 3000 meters high and heavy-duty landing gear for landing on ill-prepared and small platforms.

TrAMP Multi-Use Drone To Be Available Soon

Readying for flight trials with a regular engine equipped with a quad-blade propeller that will be on it soon. Use standard landing gear, not fancy for use on the ground. The ground tests are almost done with other relevant tweaks to vital systems.

Sources have expressed satisfaction that the drone can be deployed by April at the soonest. Not enough experts on the job have kept the platform from flying earlier. He indicated the lack of specialists who came later on caused a delay.

News of this long-range transport drone was first heard in February 2023 when the information was reported. A long-distance cargo drone is a first for the Russians, which is the transport drone TrAMP, per Top War.

Not all drones are for combat because they can be used for Agriculture surveillance and even civilian applications to boot. The compartment will hold any equipment from the military to others. The door allows suspending an impact payload too.

Russian forces will use it in Ukraine with the integrated cargo and vehicle rescue system, toughened landing strut with oversized tires, and modular parts will be part of the system. All the parts can be replaced when needed with duties as an unmanned mule for bad weather.

This video of the cargo drone comes when they are becoming more prevalent in the conflict. Nothing is surprising as both sides used them. Another is the knocking down of the US MQ-9 Reaper by a Su-27 over the Black Sea.

This Russian TrAMP UAV, a multi-use drone that offers cargo transport and modular components, is a game-changer used anywhere and anytime.
