LeBron James Injury: Recovery Timeline, Anthony Davis' Bold Message

The Los Angeles Lakers are concerned about LeBron James' injury, which may keep him out of action for multiple weeks.

The right foot injury that has sidelined LeBron James is expected to keep him out for a minimum of two weeks.

LeBron James' injury timeline for now is indefinite and it may even become a longer period depending on the Lakers' playoff positioning in the Western Conference, per Bill Reiter of CBS Sports.

After the Lakers' victory against Dallas on Sunday, it was reported that the team feared the superstar forward might be sidelined for a long time due to LeBron James' injury.

There is concern that James may be sidelined indefinitely. Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Lakers are "bracing for his absence to be multiple weeks," Charania said, adding LeBron James injury will need "multiple opinions," according to Sporting News.

Mark Medina of NBA.com said on "The Odd Couple" podcast that James' injury is not expected to completely derail his season as there is a potential that he may be able to play despite the agony if the pain settles down.

On NBA Tuesday, the home team Memphis Grizzlies made the most of LeBron James' absence to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 121-109. Memphis superstar guard Ja Morant posted 39 points.

Anthony Davis Comments on LeBron James' Injury

The Lakers were powered by Anthony Davis (28 points, 19 rebounds) and Lonnie Walker IV (21 points), but their efforts fell short, per Inquirer Sports.

AD commented on the injury of LeBron James in an interview, stating he would rather see his teammate fully recover later than have him "rush back early." 

"I want him to get completely right and healthy before he comes back. It's on us to step up and win basketball games," he remarked about LeBron James injury timeline.
