For reportedly hitting a fan during a heated argument in Los Angeles, Kanye West will not face charges.

Kanye West will not face charges for reportedly hitting a fan during a confrontation earlier this year in Los Angeles.

A representative for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office confirmed to Fox News Digital on Tuesday that the 45-year-old rapper would not be prosecuted with violence in connection with the January incident.

Kanye West Won't Be Charged For Punching a Fan

A representative for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to Fox News Digital in January that West was being investigated following an incident between the Yeezy designer and another individual about 3 am on January 13. According to the official, the accused victim filed a battery report and named West as the culprit.

Kanye West was departing a nearby diner when he became engaged with the victim, a man. The victim phoned the police, and by the time the cops arrived, Kanye West was gone, a spokesperson for the rapper told Fox News Digital at the time. West's attorney, Michael A. Goldstein, told Forbes on Tuesday that the 24-time Grammy winner is happy with this agreement because it recognizes my client did nothing wrong.

Goldstein said that West made every attempt to get away from the alleged victim, who become an aggressive stalker and reportedly tracked the Chicago native to three separate locales. According to Goldstein, West submitted the LA City Attorney's office with video, pictures, and witness evidence to back up his accusations, Fox News reported.l

The Los Angeles City Attorney's Office told TMZ in a statement, "After a full and meticulous assessment of all the evidence, our office is declining to file based on no reasonable possibility of conviction."

He was previously under investigation for misdemeanor battery, a punishment punishable by up to six months in prison. Kanye West is accused of hitting and knocking down a fan outside the West Hollywood private members' club Soho Warehouse at 3 am.

The fan is believed to have requested for an autograph, resulting in an increasingly heated argument that allegedly led to physical violence. Kanye later told Entertainment Tonight that the individual he allegedly slapped "wasn't a fan but was grabbing autographs to make money on them." At the time, he was embroiled in an ugly public spat with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian for custody of their four children.

He was also openly feuding with Kim's then-boyfriend, Saturday Night Live lothario Pete Davidson, with whom she eventually separated this month. Kanye West celebrated Kim Kardashian's recent separation with a parody meme of a New York Times story announcing "Skete Davidson" dead.

According to a source, Pete Davidson, who, like Kanye West, has a history of mental health issues, has spent months in "trauma therapy" over the rapper's actions.

According to reports, the 45-year-old artist seeks to obtain the copyright on a disc-like dark blue design with a serrated outside border and a solid circular band inside. His most recent court records were submitted one month after he applied for a trademark on a similar design with a white inside rather than a blue one.

The new blue mark is meant to be used for retail locations, online retail store services, and online purchasing services. For months, rumors have swirled that Kanye is intending to open his apparel boutiques.
