A giant nuclear-powered flying hotel called Sky Cruise is capable of carrying 5,000 passengers equipped with modern amenities and could soon roam the world skies.

In the future, a giant nuclear-powered flying hotel might be flying without landing and docking only to pick up and disembark its guests.

This flying cruise stays aloft and goes anywhere in the world with 5,000 passengers in first-class accommodations. A CGI video of the AI-piloted Sky Cruise was released explaining the futuristic airliner project to present its exceptional features

The Future of Air Travel

It is a hybrid idea that combines the concept of a plane and hotel powered by nuclear fusion that keeps it flying, never landing, reported the Sun UK.

According to Yemeni engineer Hashem Alghaili, using the proposed nuclear fusion engines for Sky Cruise as another futurism-driven transport is one of the first aircraft meant to fly at all times, even repair maintenance will be done while in flight too. The giant planet will not need piloting and will fly itself autonomously.

However, like the best luxury hotels, the Sky Cruise will still have staff aboard it for the passenger's convenience. The video presentation revealed its features like restaurants, one huge shopping mall, gym, theatre, and swimming pool in the sky. One promotional clip advertised the plane as the best wedding venue for the daring ones.

Another unbelievable amenity of the airborne hotel is a panoramic hall with a 360-degree view of the sky, cited The National News. The concept may sound excellent, but some are not convinced.

The Titanic of the skies

An objection to building the Sky Cruise concept is it could be the 'modern Titanic' based on issues to contend with. Concern about how it will fly with its humongous size and the danger of crashing, causing the nuclear engine to explode.

One passenger did not like riding a plane with several nuke reactors, which is not a comforting thought, cited the Ladbible.

As a passenger on the lowest deck will be cheaper, but no leg space and lounge access are deal breakers for some.

The overall design of the flying hotel is an issue, from structural characteristics to bad airflow, oddly designed fusion reactor engines, and last is landing gear that is exposed.

How much to build a prototype that will be costly; only rich people can pay the ticket price. Although some like the idea. One person thought it was like someone time traveling to 2070, finding a retro-futuristic video based on this era, then showing what the future would look like.

Instead of a plane, why not an airship with more space that one suggested and hoped would become a reality.

Building the Sky Cruise will be a dream for some, but the concept is still too far into the future. If this giant plane is made, some things will stay the same. Sure the technical problems from the ground up to technical details are challenging, but the Blue Origin worked over an unlikely concept.

The giant nuclear-powered flying hotel called Sky Cruise was a futuristic concept before, but it is a curious take on the evolution of air travel by Yemeni engineer Hashem Al Ghaili; however, it may or may not take off.
