After being struck by lightning in a "strong" electrical storm, Miley Cyrus' private plane was forced to make an emergency landing. As she filmed the sky lighting up through the plane window, the Wrecking Ball singer's friends and family could be heard gasping.

The aircraft's body was charred and damaged as a result of the impact. Miley Cyrus is now on the South American leg of her Mileyworld tour, with her most recent performance taking place in Bogota, Colombia.

The crowd-pleasing singer has even performed songs from her Hannah Montana days in her career-spanning shows. She immediately clarified, however, that she was only reading from a fan's sign in the crowd. On Saturday, she will perform at the massive Lollapalooza event in Brazil.

Miley Cyrus' visit to Paraguay was expected to gather a large number of fans to the country's Silvio Pettiro International Airport, as per Rolling Stone.

She previously protested the event's omission of her album Plastic Hearts and her track Midnight Sky. Miley did receive a Grammy nod for her work on Lil Nas X's Montero, which is up for album of the year.

Bangerz earned her first and only solo nomination for the best pop vocal album in 2015, but she lost to Sam Smith's In The Lonely Hour.

Miley Cyrus Wows Fans For Her Performance, Looks

According to Page Six, the former 'Hannah Montana' actress previewed the performances on Instagram last week, wearing a sheer, one-shouldered Maison Close onesie ($325) and Moncler Diffractor Sunglasses ($585).]

She met fans in an athleisure brand Koral's Jet Infinity Jumpsuit ($145), which boasts a dramatic low back with slim straps, after arriving in Argentina. She wore Moncler's Phantom Shield Sunglasses ($320) to complete the rock 'n' roll look.

Miley Cyrus donned a low-cut, silver-striped leather catsuit by punk rock legend and Scottish designer Pam Hogg to enter the stage at Lollapalooza Argentina. Hogg has also dressed Siouxsie Sioux and Debbie Harry of Blondie, as well as Taylor Swift for her "Bad Blood" music video.

Cyrus wore an electric blue Maison Close bodysuit ($179) tucked into matching leggings ($204) for Lolla in Chile, simulating the effect of a second-skin catsuit.

The outfits perfectly complimented the tone of the superstar's rock-influenced "Plastic Hearts" album, harkening back to the ensembles worn live by Harry, Pat Benatar, and Joan Jett - with a 2022 twist, thanks to a few cutouts.

Because her song "Bad Karma" contains the former Runaways frontwoman, it's only fitting that the artist channeled her inner Jett. Cyrus has two more tour dates left, including the Asuncionico Festival in Paraguay and Lollapalooza in Brazil, both of which will undoubtedly be packed with more leather and spandex.
