"Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L. James is either teasing her fans or just made a casting announcement on Twitter. James posted a photo of actress Katie Cassidy stretching her leg across her chest with the caption "Katie Cassidy... Isn't she flexible?"

Previously the "Arrow" actress was rumored to play Kate Kavanagh in the film (the role went to Eloise Mumford) but now new rumors claim she's been cast to star as Leila Williams, one of Christian Grey's (Jamie Dornan) former submissives, International Business Times reports.

For those not familiar with the erotic novel, Leila and Christian's relationship took place about two and a half years before the events in James' novel. She left the kinky billionaire when she met her husband but eventually leaves her husband for a boy-toy named Geoff. When Geoff is killed in a car accident, Leila has a mental breakdown.

Things get pretty interesting - and intense - between Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) and Leila following the mental breakdown.  Like all submissives, Leila has long, dark hair with brown eyes. When Ana sees Leila, she can't believe how much they look alike.

In other "Fifty" news, Johnson posed in a sexy photo shoot for Elle magazine and revealed why she decided to take the role in the highly-anticipated film.

"Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes," she said. "I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."

As for those sex scenes with Dornan, Johnson said she was completely comfortable and didn't "have any problem doing anything.

"The secret is, I have no shame," she told the magazine.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" will be released Feb. 13, 2015.
