Dakota Johnson must have been channeling her "Fifty Shades of Grey" character, Anastasia Steele, for a photo shoot with Elle magazine. The 24-year-old actress posed in cute dresses and sexy lingerie and heels and for the fashion magazine's March 2014 issue.

According to US Weekly, this was Johnson's first time covering a fashion magazine. The sultry shoot was shot by photographer Carter Smith. Jamie Dornan's Christian Grey wasn't in this photo shoot but Johnson did open up about why she took the role opposite the "Once Upon a Time" actor.

"Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes," she said. "I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."

Johnson also told Elle that shooting the kinky sex scenes were not a problem for her.

"I don't have any problem doing anything," she said. "The secret is I have no shame."

Last month, the film's producer Michael De Luca, spoke with E! News about how production was going. The cast and crew have been in Vancouver, Canada since December filming the movie.  

"It's hot," he told E! at the Producers Guild Awards in Los Angeles,  about Johnson and Dornan's chemistry. "I think we are a little more than halfway through but it's going really good. I'm excited!"

"The chemistry is there, they genuinely like each other," he added. "They're enjoying the story, the story is so powerful."

According to E! a source revealed that Johnson and Dornan shot most of the sex scenes already but warned that they the movie version will be less racy than E.L. James' novel.  

"It's less racy than the book," the source said. "They felt it would be too much, so they have dialed those scenes back."
