Ben Affleck's batsuit for "Batman vs. Superman" has passed the approval of his wife Jennifer Garner and now his best friend Matt Damon.

Damon revealed to MTV News' Josh Horowitz during the premiere of his upcoming film "The Monuments Men" that he has seen the infamous photo of Affleck in his "Man of Steel 2" costume.

"I have seen a picture. It's excellent. And I've talked to him about the storyline, and it's great. Look, I've known him for thirty-something years," Damon told MTV. "I'd be the first guy being like, 'Buddy, what are you doing?' But I think the movie is going to be great." (Watch video below)

Damon's comments echo Garner's response to the batsuit she revealed during an Entertainment Tonight interview at the 2014 Golden Globes red carpet. The ET interviewer asked if Garner would like her husband to come home in his Batman costume, to which she responded:

"I don't think I could get him out of the suit, so 'no,' I'll probably go to set and look from afar...I've seen the suit. The suit is unbelievably cool. It's a total reinvention. It looks great."

Kevin Smith, arguably the biggest Batman fanatic out there and good friend of Affleck's and "Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder, has also laid eyes upon the batsuit. Smith originally revealed he had seen the Caped Crusader's costume in Novemebr 2013 during his "Fatman on Batman" podcast.

"I saw the costume, more than that I saw him [Ben Affleck] in the costume...I don't want to give anything away cause that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this...I instantly bear hugged him. You have not seen this costume in film before. Because every other movie has done this matrixy black armor thing," Smith said during his Podcast.

"There wasn't a single nipple on this [frick]ing suit man," Smith added. "I think everyone is gonna be like 'Holy Shit!' We haven't been down this path before. Even the Hardest core '[frick] this movie' person will be like 'alright, I'm ready!'"

According to multiple reports, Affleck is due on the "Batman vs. Superman" set all summer of 2014.

"Batman vs. Superman" will be released to theaters on May 6, 2016.
