C-3PO has landed the cover of French film magazine Studio Ciné Live so the "Star Wars Episode 7" camp can continue to tease fans as to whether the robot will return to the big screen.

According to Yahoo Movies UK, the print magazine "promises" first information about the film.  However, it isn't likely Studio Ciné Live will have casting news, as director J.J. Abrams and the rest of the "Star Wars" camp has remained quiet about the production.

Though no casting news for "Star Wars Episode 7" has been confirmed, rumor mills claim the production is currently looking for some to play Luke Skywalker's wife and son.  StarWars7News.com reports the production is looking for the following "expanded universes" inspired characters:

"Right now they're looking at using the basic descriptions of EU characters with different names. Luke's wife will follow the same template as Shira Brie/Mara Jade. Red hair, Green eyes, attitude etc. The same with the kids of the big three. Fans should not expect to see Kyle Katarn, Corran Horn or Cilghal, but characters who are very much like them...

"That's why Bob Iger said they would use the 17,000 character for inspiration for new characters. Shira Brie and Mara Jade are the templates for Luke's wife/Love interest. Jaina will be the inspiration for the Solo daughter, Jacen for the Solo son and Ben for the Skywalker son. Most of the new characters in the new continuity are based on characters from the old continuity."

The role of Luke Skywalkers son could go to "That Awkward Moment" actor Zac Efron.  In a recent interview with MTV News, the actor revealed he had met with the "Star Wars Episode 7" production team.

"Yeah, I just went and met with them. So I don't know. It would be cool. I love them, I love them, but... who knows," Efron told MTV.

The actor didn't reveal what role he was up for, but he was connected to the film early on in 2013.

"Star Wars Episode 7" is slated to hit theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
