Kate Middleton's plans for Valentine's Day have been revealed and unfortunately it looks like the Duchess of Cambridge will spend the beginning of the day without Prince William. According to E! News, Middleton will start her day by attending the opening of the ICAP Art Room at Northbolt High School in Ealing, London.

She'll be greeting staff and students, get a chance to attend a short Art Room session and learn how the school and charity work together. Middleton has been a royal patron of The Art Room since January 2012.

Prince William will spend the better part of Valentine's Day in class. The Duke of Cambridge enrolled in a 10-week agricultural management course at the University of Cambridge. It hasn't been revealed how the royal couple will spend the romantic holiday later on when they are both free.

Last year, Middleton and Prince William took a romantic vacation to Mustique, a Caribbean Island a part of the nation of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. In 2012, Middleton spent the holiday without he husband because he was deployed to the Falklands at the time.

She spent the day visiting different charities in the area. According to E! the first stop she made was by the Brink, an alcohol-free bar that helps people dealing with alcoholism or substance abuse. To celebrate a visit from the Duchess, bartenders created "The Duchess," an alcohol-free smoothie which included a blend of bananas, honey and almonds.

The organization's vocal choir, the Raucous Caucus Recovery Chorus, also performed some songs for her. After that she went by the Alder Hey Children's Hospital and the local Ronald McDonald House, where the children gifted her cupcakes, cards, Valentines and a bouquet of red roses from an 8-year-old boy who included a note that read: "Happy Valentine's Day, your Royal Highness. I'm sorry Prince William can't be here."
