According to new reports, Justin Bieber can count on his on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez to stick by him while he battles his latest run-in with the law. The 19-year-old singer was arrested early Thursday morning (Jan. 23) in Miami Beach, Fla. for DUI, resisting arrest and drag racing.

A source told Hollywood Life that Gomez was "devastated" when she first heard the news.

"She has been woken up and told what is happening," the source said. "She is completely devastated over what has happened."

"She is praying for him and is not giving up on him, but she is also angry at him for treating himself, his friends, and her like s**t," a different source told the site. "She knows he needs help, and wants him to get help and get better - she hopes this is a wakeup call. She is skeptical though, and is scared that he will think of [the arrest] as more 'street cred' [instead of] realizing that he has issues."

Gomez might be right when she says that Bieber might not take his arrest seriously. The Miami Beach police department released the "Boyfriend" singe's mugshot and in the photo he is seen staring into the camera smiling. In his profile mugshot he looks a little more serious.

According to People magazine, during a press conference the police department said that the arresting officer "smelled odor of alcoholic beverage" on Bieber. They also said he was uncooperative and was cursing at the officers.

Reportedly during an investigation at the station, the pop star admitted to being under the influence of alcohol, marijuana and prescription medication. The "Baby" singer is also being investigated for allegedly throwing eggs at his neighbor's house. According to the neighbor the damage to his house totaled almost $20,000, which made it a felony case.

Following the incident, Los Angeles police raided Bieber's house with a federal search warrant and arrested his friend for possession of drugs. Police said they were not looking for eggs but for something that could link Bieber to the egging.

He has not been arrested or charged in connection to the egging but there were reports that if he was found guilty, he could be deported
