Latest reports were escalating that Samsung will already announce its Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 but some reports were telling that no date was provided yet. What is certain based from the several reports is the confirmation that the new device will be announced this August which reportedly features a unique dual camera system and S Pen.

According to The Verge, Samsung executive would only confirm the month of August as to the announcement date for the new Galaxy Note 8 without a concrete date yet. But consumers can already assume that next month is the right timeline for the said device from Samsung most especially that the previous Note devices have been announced late in the summer.

Apart from its announcement date, there were speculations saying that the Galaxy Note 8 will sport the same 6.2-inch screen like the company's Galaxy S8 Plus. However, the only difference is that the new Note device will feature a unique dual-system with a different signature S Pen.

The said dual-camera system of the new Galaxy Note 8 can be positioned and placed horizontally with two 12-megapixel sensors. Aside from this, its sensor will also be positioned next to the cameras of the device same with the S8.

It was also reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be offered at more than $900 in the US and will be released in different color variants like gold, black, and blue. The said device reportedly features its own version of the Infinity Display which is already featured in the Galaxy S8.

The speculations were also saying that the new Galaxy Note 8 will have seamless edges and sides as the sides of its screen combine seamlessly with its body. Its display will also occupy most of the front screen because of its edge-to-edge display.

It was even revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with a 6GB of RAM and will be operated by Snapdragon 835 or the Exynos 8895 SoC. Besides, it was said that it will have a smaller battery than the Galaxy S8 which can have a big impact when it comes to its battery life.
