The fifth Indiana Jones movie has been moved ahead to 2020 from 2019. Disney made the announcement on Tuesday and also released the calendar of its forthcoming releases and many of them have been reorganized.

The yet-to-be-titled, Harrison Ford-starrer fifth Indiana Jones movie has been delayed by one year and would be releasing on July 10, 2020, BBC has reported. Disney made this announcement on Tuesday and declared that "Frozen 2" and the new version of "Lion King" will be arriving in theaters on Nov 27, 2019, and July 19, 2019. The studio also said that the third installment of the "Star Wars" trilogy will be hitting the theaters on May 24, 2019.

Notably, the fifth installment of Indiana Jones film is coming 39 years after the first installment "Raiders of the Lost Ark" made it to the screens and became a super hit. It is said that the forthcoming installment would be the last in the series as Harrison Ford is growing older. In 2020, he would be 78 but the good thing is that the delay in the film would provide the busy director Steven Spielberg with ample time to come up with a strong script which is necessary as the fourth installment "Kingdom of the Skull" did not do very well.

Coming back to Disney's announcement, many upcoming projects of the studio have been reshuffled. According to Variety, "A Wrinkle in Time" has been moved ahead by one year and would be releasing on March 9, 2018, in place of April 6, 2018. However, "Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2" has been shifted by months only and releases on Nov 21, 2018 instead of March 9, 2018.

Disney also affirmed that its unnamed live-action fairy tale would be delayed by a year, from 28 July, 2017 to 3 Aug, 2018. However, it did not give out any details about the fairy tale. So, it is still subject to speculation.
