Derrick Rose is heading to free agency after this season. Latest news is saying that he wants to be a winner and will test the trade market if there is a better opportunity awaiting for him. Will he consider of signing with another team next season?

Derrick Rose was the first overall pick by the Chicago Bulls in the 2008 NBA Draft. Since his arrival, he became a sensational player for the Bulls leading them to consecutive playoff appearances and earning him the Most Valuable Player award in 2011. However, he tore the ACL in his left knee later that year and since then, he slowed down and lost his deadly form from there on.

And then, the Chicago Bulls traded Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks last summer ending his seven seasons with them. Many believed that Rose influx will further boost the roster of the Knicks and his tandem with Carmelo Anthony will lead them to great glory. But from the looks of it, the Knicks are heading to another early exit this season with a 28-46 win-loss record going to their last eight games.

And now, Derrick Rose are now looking ahead to the free agency market this coming offseason. According to ESPN, Rose says that he'll prioritize winning above money this summer. This will be the first time that he will become a free agent and stated that he will take an open approach to it. His decision will be based on what he, his agent and family will be the best suit for him.

With that, speculations are spreading that Derrick Rose might be going somewhere else then and will not re-sign with the New York Knicks. Rumors are saying that he might head to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who was already linked to him last month before the trade deadline ends. But, base on the Timberwolves standings, they seem to be not the team that has a winning trait right now.

Still, there a possibility that Derrick Rose will come back with the New York Knicks as the team is planning to tender a contract and see how negotiation will go by. On his first seasons with the Knicks, Rose is averaging 18.0 points, 4.4 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 64 games he has played which is quite more impressive that his past three seasons with the Bulls.

Will Derrick Rose decides to leave the New York Knicks and sign with another team?
