Reports about the Oakland Raiders odd movement on their roster next season have been the hot topic of online news as of late. Recent reports are saying that they are planning on bringing back running back Marshawn Lynch who just retired from football last year.

The Oakland Raiders came up short on their campaign last season. They were able to enter the playoffs being the fifth seed of the AFC division with a 12-4 win-loss record. But, they were eliminated by the Houston Texans in Wild Card Playoffs ending their run to the Super Bowl. And now, they want to bounce back from their shortcomings and reportedly intends to get a veteran rusher on their roster.

According to NFL.com, the Oakland Raiders are considering Marshawn Lynch as a potential addition to their lineup next season. Sources are saying that the 30-year old running back is allegedly thinking of returning back and still seen maintaining himself in shape. The Raiders have already tried to make a trade with Seattle Seahawks for Lynch last year but it never happened and still choose to retire.

However, Lynch hasn't released any statement regarding his intention of playing again after his retirement last year. Aside from that, the Seattle Seahawks still have the playing rights to Marshawn Lynch and the Oakland Raiders haven't talked to the Seahawks about him. It will take a good offer from the Raiders to snatch him from the Seahawks but first they must convince Lynch to take a comeback in the league.

In his nine seasons in the NFL, Marshawn Lynch snared a total of 9,112 rushing yards and 74 rushing touchdowns. Lynch has been in the Pro Bowl five times and selected once in NFL First-team All-Pro (2012) and Second-team All-Pro (2014). He is also a two-time NFL rushing touchdown leader and winning a Super Bowl title with the Seattle Seahawks highlighted his career. This could also be an opportunity for the Oakland Raiders to fill up the running back spot left by Latavius Murray who signed with the Minnesota Vikings a couple of weeks ago.

Does it make sense for the Oakland Raiders to add Marshawn Lynch?
