Oscar 2017 awards will be unveiled tomorrow at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood but going by the predictions, it seems like "La La Land" would overshadow all others. It has already made a record with 14 nominations (tying with "Titanic" and All "About Eve") and it looks like it will win record number of awards as well.

Oscar 2017 nominations have already made the musical "La La Land" a winner and now it looks like the predictions are also in favor of the Ryan Gosling-Emma Stoner starrer movie, CNN claimed. The best picture category has nine nominations but "La La Land" seems like the clear winner and it also holds true for Emma Stone in the best actress category.

In cinematography and direction category too, "La La Land" stands strong chances and it is not unlikely if Damien Chazelle is seen walking away with the trophy for the best director. His movie has struck the right chords with audiences and critics. The film's editing and production design have been pretty impressive as well and Oscar 2017 seems set to honor both and yes, how can one forget music.

It goes without saying that "La La Land" would be sweeping the music and sound category at Oscar 2017 but Ryan Gosling might not get best actor's award. Denzel Washington (Fences) and Cassey Affleck (Manchester by the Sea) seem to be in close contention and it is said that the former would be a more sentimental choice.

Other movies that have high chances of bagging Oscar 2017 awards are "Moonlight" in the best supporting actor category for Mahershala Ali and best-adapted screenplay category. "Fences" might not just fetch Washington an award, it can also do the same for Viola Davis as the best-supporting actress. Among others, "Zootopia," and "O.J.: Made in America" have an edge in the best-animated feature film and documentary category.

Oscar 2017 awards will be declared on Feb. 26 when the event takes place in Dolby Theater in California, Hollywood.
