HTC is expected turn around its falling revenues in the next few months with the launch of its alleged new flagship smartphone, the HTC 11. 2016 has not been a good year for a number of Android manufacturers, including HTC.

Several manufacturers, including LG, Sony, and Motorola, have been reporting big losses over the course of the year. But unlike the other companies, HTC's only main source of revenue is its smartphone sales. This means that the Taiwanese tech firm has more to lose should its next product fail to capture a good portion of the smartphone market.

Over the course of the year, HTC has launched several smartphones and products, including the HTC VIVE and the HTC 10. Despite the devices' top-end specs and quality, the company still reported an operating loss of $133 million in the last quarter of this year.

The company's partnership with Google in building their latest Google Pixel and Pixel XL may have compensated for the loss, but the company still needs to make a name for itself by coming out with a truly high-demand product.

As for the alleged new HTC 11 smartphone, newly uncovered leaks from the Chinese social media website, Weibo, has revealed that the device may be a beast of a phone that will incorporate some of the latest technology available early next year. While the leak has yet to be officially confirmed, some of its claims are quite exciting for users looking to purchase a powerful and quality smartphone in the coming months.

According to the leak, the new HTC 11 is allegedly going to be coming with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, which utilizes the latest 10nm architecture. The Octa-core chip will also likely be paired with a huge 8GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of internal storage.

The device is mentioned to also likely sport a 5.5-inch QHD display and is capable of charging its 3,700mAh battery with the latest Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 tech. The combination of the top-end specs will likely make the HTC 11 one of the more desirable flagship smartphones next year, given that all of the speculation turns out to be accurate.
