Kanye West may have landed himself in more legal troubles after allegedly attacking a teenager who reportedly provoked him by calling Kim Kardashian racial slurs.

However, Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner came to the rapper's defense in an interview with Australia's 2DayFM:

"I do know that how it started was that this person got really...a lot of racial, hateful, horrible things that he was saying. And I think that's where it started. I'm not quite sure how it ended. To be honest with you...I got wind of this last night because I had been out of town. And I've literally been doing some press all day today and have not been home. So I haven't talked to anybody to give you a better update. But I think that what happened was that somebody got really out of line. Very hateful person."

Jenner admitted to having Google alerts set up in her email to "keep track" of her kids, which is reportedly how she became aware of the incident with West.

"I do have Google alerts," the 58-year-old explained to the radio show. "Sometimes that's how I keep track of these kids, because they're everywhere. And if I don't have my little Google alert every morning, how am I going to keep up with these Kardashians?"

According to TMZ, West is accused of punching an unidentified teenager after he called his fiancée a "n***** lover" at a doctor's office. Kardashian reportedly claims she will be filing a police report of her own since the alleged victim also threated to kill her.

"He's already facing battery charges for his LAX assault on a photog, and the L.A. City Attorney wants to use every confrontation to prove Kanye has an M.O. This isn't going to help his cause," TMZ reports.
