The on-and-off relationship of Rihanna and Chris Brown has been a subject of great speculation for media and fans. Their breakup and patch-ups always made one wonder if they are meant to be together and now it looks like they are. Rihanna seems to have forgiven him and it is speculated that the duo is back to being together.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the songstress opened up about their relationship and said that it is "different now," reports Daily Mail. The "Diamonds" singer was very candid about Chris Brown and admitted that she wants to be happy and does not care what people think about her. She stated that after being tormented for so many years and being angry and dark, she would rather just live her truth and take the backlash.

She made no bones about her feelings for Brown and said that she can handle the backlash because even if it is a mistake, it is her mistake. Notably, Rihanna and Chris brown broke up on a nasty note in 2013. He had physically assaulted her in 2009 and was later on charged with assault and making criminal threats. A case was filed and Brown pleaded guilty, leading the judge to send him on probation of five years and ordered him to stay fifty yards away from her. Later, it was modified after Rihanna gave her consent.

So, it seems very likely that the Barbadian singer is looking to patch up with her ex, reports Movie News Guide. She is already over Drake, her months-old boyfriend, who is rumored to be dating Taylor Swift.

Though an official announcement is awaited, sources close to Rihanna and Chris Brown have always maintained that they could never get over each other. While RiRi did feel humiliated, she only wanted to teach him a lesson and it looks like she has achieved that. He is said to have suffered a good deal after she left him and also issued threats to Drake for getting involved with her.

It must be mentioned that Chris Brown pined for Rihanna all this while but in his heart, he knew that RiRi still loved him and would finally come back to him. Well, she is back, it seems.
