James Bond fans are eagerly waiting for the next movie of the spy and now it looks like they have some good news to look forward to. The next James Bond movie is on its way and Ryan Gosling might replace Daniel Craig in the upcoming installment. However, all is not ok as novelist Ian Fleming, who created the iconic spy agent, has come under fire for plagiarizing the work of another author.

It is being said that the next James Bond movie will release soon as the production team has chosen a premiere date for the film, reports Jobs & Hire. Though earlier speculations hinted at a 2018 premiere, it looks like things are moving fast and the movie would happen sooner than later. As for the actor who would play the lead, Ryan Gosling has emerged as the latest entrant.

'The Notebook' star is being seen as the ideal replacement for Daniel Craig as he has got the looks, the charming aura, and the mysterious attitude. However, fans would have to wait till an official announcement is made as Gosling is not the only contender to step into Craig's shoes. Aidan Turner, Scott Adkins, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, and Scott Mendelson are also in the list of potential replacements and therefore, it is a tough competition.

In other news, Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond, has come under criticism for plagiarism, reports Tripped Media. According to a BBC News report, it is female novelist Phyllis Bottome who ought to be given the credit for bringing to life the popular spy. The writer of the report cites evidence in support of his claims and one can find it in the BBC Radio 4 documentary titled "The Woman Who Invented James Bond."

It shows that "The Life Line" the book Bottome wrote in 1946 has a character called Mark Chalmers and he has a striking resemblance with James Bond, with every characteristic of the former matching the latter. So, is it that Fleming based his hero on Chalmers? No one would perhaps get to know as the said novel is not in print anymore but one must keep fingers crossed for Ryan Gosling.
