Season 13 of "American Idol" kicked off on Wednesday, Jan. 15 with a new panel of judges and a fresh group of talented singers. Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and newbie Harry Connick Jr. will be the three people deciding the musical fate of hundreds of hopeful singers trying to make it to Hollywood.

The judge's panel got a complete makeover from last season following an ongoing feud between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. Both ladies decided not to return this season and Randy Jackson announced he wouldn't be coming back either. Urban was the only judge from Season 12 to return.

Wednesday's episode focused on the auditions from Boston and Austin. Throughout the show there was plenty of talent, some "OMG" moments - like when Connick scooped up one of the singer's like he was a baby - and some twerking.

Even though it was only the season premiere there already seems to be a frontrunner. The show started off with 17-year-old Marialle Sellars, who auditioned in Detroit. Sellars belted the words to Bruno Mars' "Grenade" blowing the entire panel away.

Connick told the teen that she is "going to be a nightmare for other competitors in this competition" and then asked her to introduce herself as the next "American Idol" for the camera. Sellars was definitely impressive but she wasn't the only singer who wowed the judges. In all, 46 people from Boston and Austin made it through the first round to Hollywood.

The second part of the premiere will air Thursday (Jan. 16) with more auditions from Austin. Check out some of the fan reactions below and let us know in the comments section what you thought about "American Idol."
