Miley Cyrus is known for her wacky, often polarizing style (including her controversial latex VMAs 2013 outfit and revealing, high-waisted leotards), and of course for chopping off her long locks for a short, blonde pixie cut, but recently, the 21-year-old pop star debuted a new style: a bowl cut.

Us Weekly reports that Cyrus debuted the daring new look on Jan. 14 outside of an L.A. recording studio, her darker roots visible underneath. Wearing a belly-bearing white crop top, red lipstick and black trousers and suspenders, Cyrus was all smiles in a boyish-femme look while hanging out with her manager, Larry Rudolph and a group of friends.

Many have taken to social media to tease Cyrus, comparing the look to Jim Carrey's "Dumb & Dumber" character Lloyd Christmas from the 1995 comedy.

The star has been hard at work preparing for her upcoming tour, though it's possible she's also been busy creating new music in the meantime as a follow-up to last year's #1 album, "Bangerz." The teddy bear, twerk-filled tour kicks off Feb. 14 in Vancouver, BC, and will feature plenty of wacky costumes, fun characters and opening acts Sky Ferreira and Icona Pop.
