Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton will be headlining a major music festival in New Orleans around next year. People are thrilled to hear that two of the biggest names in music performing at the 2017 Bayou Country Superfest.

The three-day music festival will be held around over the Memorial Day holiday. There will be a free show that features Eric Paslay, Easton Corbin and Dylan Scott at Champions Square on Friday, May 26.

The former couple agreed to be the part of this music event, but they are likely to perform on different dates. Lambert will headline the concert on Saturday, May 27 alongside Rascal Flatts, Brooks & Dunn, and Brett Eldredge.

Shelton, on the other hand, is slated to perform on Sunday, May 28 together with Old Dominion, Thomas Rhett, and Hank Williams Jr. The organizers wouldn't want to cause a controversy around the event, so they separated the dates of performance of both Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.

Its been an year since Blake and Miranda divorced, but the two seem to find their ways to avoid each other. Maybe, Blake wants to give Gwen Stefani the security she needs. Gwen has trust issues because she has already been cheated by her ex-Husband Gavin Rossdale.

It has been reported that Gwen has been insecure and jealous over Blake's womanizing ways. According to another report, Blake did lie to Gwen that he didn't speak to Miranda. The sources say that actually the singer complimented Lambert on how amazing she looks and the success of her new song.

Ever since this story came out, Blake Shelton has been more close towards Gwen Stefani. Maybe, he realises there is no chance he could get back with Miranda as she is ready to settle down with Anderson East.

Both Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are planning for a secret wedding. The two will tie the knot at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills on May 5, 2017. This interestingly means he'll be married when he and his ex-wife perform at the Music event.
