The official trailer for the upcoming movie "Logan" is officially out in the open. Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman), however, was introduced in a completely different light. In the official video for Wolverine's 3rd solo film, the protagonist was shown seemingly older than what we got used to seeing out of him.

Logan will look much older

The world has completely changed and most mutants are already gone on Wolverine 3: Logan. He was also seen with Charles Xavier, or Professor X (played by Patrick Stewart), who also appeared at a more advanced age.

The Female Wolverine

The years passing by seems to have taken a deep toll on both characters, as they seem to be struggling physically and emotionally. The Wolverine 3: Logan video teaser has also featured a younger mutant, who looked pretty much like X-23, Logan's female clone and the current star of the current Wolverine comic series issued by Marvel.

Logan will (still) be full of violence

Previously, a Wolverine 3 poster has surfaced, showing Hugh Jackman holding the hand of the said young girl in the trailer. Director James Mangold also recently tweeted a photo of a very old Professor X. The rest of the Logan teaser video showed Wolverine in action, showing that the producers did not show any holding back on the violence. Boyd Holbrook was rumored to be the new potential main villain.

Boyd Holbrook as the main villain

According to some recent reports, Boyd Holbrook will be playing Donald Pierce in Wolverine 3, who is a relentless and intense head of security for a global enterprise who is very much keen on going against Logan. Pierce was also rumored to be a cyborg that has some extraordinary abilities.

Official release date

Hugh Jackman will again be reprising his role in the upcoming Wolverine 3 movie, which will most likely be -according to rumors - for the last time. Wolverine 3: Logan is set to hit theaters on March 3, 2017.
